- I am looking for some software suitable for running a video bulletin
- board for the high school television station in which I am involved,
- SVTV. We are currently running a decent video bulletin board on an Amiga
- 1000 with 2.5 meg of ram and 2 floppy drives using Sheriff System's Pro
- Video Gold. This system has served us well for years, but our needs are
- expanding. We need to be able to load in an ascii text file to a page
- or group of pages, which is not possible in PVG. It would also be
- usefull to be able to modem in commands to display pages such as school
- closings or delays. We would like to keep it running on our faithfull
- Amiga 1000, but we do have an Amiga 2000 that could be used instead.
-
- The ideal software package would be Scala InfoChannel, however this
- program is way over-budget for our school district. We are looking for
- suggestions and offers on any software package that would serve our
- needs. We would like to preview the software before we commit to a
- purchase, but this software is needed ASAP (by request of Seneca Valley's
- School Board).
-
- Also, we need to find an honest service center to repair several
- A2000's. One has power supply problems and two have motherboard
- problems.
-
- Please email any responses to us at this address or at svtv@nauticom.net.
- We also have a homepage at http://www.nauticom.net/www/chair/svtv
- and at http://svtv.fyi.net
-
- Thank you for your time and assistance.
